About Us

In October 2019, ceramics artist, Liew Kok Ming, started the "Sun and Moon Pottery Studio" in a quaint little town, Pekan Nanas, or "Pineapple Town" in Johor, Malaysia. This studio, set in Kok Ming's hometown, is the culmination of a lifetime's dream. "Sun and Moon Pottery Studio" - a place where he can share his passion, and enjoyment for this art with others. 

The artworks are produced locally, purely handmade and fired to 1280 degress celcius. Each piece is unique. All pottery materials are non-toxic, lead free and food safe.

Please note that sometimes slight imperfections may occur. This is what makes handmade items unique and differentiates hand-built from mass production. When you support handmade, you are supporting an artisan's heart.
